INTRODUCTION
He’s Alive Chapel as mentioned in the brief church history began in the year 1990 with missions as a cardinal goal in the church vision. Global mission was addressed conspicuously in the mission statement of He’s Alive Chapel. There is an established mission department run by a Board, headed by a chairman (who is the General Overseer of the church) with a Secretary.
THE VISION
The mission project of He’s Alive Chapel is taking the Lord’s command of the Great Commission, to the Lagos river-rine areas, the highly unevangelised Franco-Phone West Africa and the people living within the belt of the 100/400 window.
THE CAMPAIGN
Presently, and since 1991 when the campaign first started in Ibeju Lekki. He’s Alive Chapel has three mission fields in the Lagos river-rine areas namely Ibeju, Orimedu and Apa in Badagry. Okotiama, a church planted among the people of Bayelsa State. We have planted six churches in the Franco-phone West Africa, in three countries namely Republic of Togo, Burkina Faso and Cote d’ivoire. Plans are already concluded to plant a church among the Boules of Beomi in Cote d’ivoire. Such plan is also on ground for the Seve people in Benin Republic.
He’s Alive Chapel has partnered with some mission agencies and mission outfit to develop mission fields in Kemberi, Magama and Uchu in Niger State of Northern Nigeria, and among the Kanuri people of Borno State in the north west of Nigeria. He’s Alive Chapel completed a research to launch into Mumuye in Taraba State. 80% of this work has raised second generation missionaries who are pastors among their people or working among other tribes.
