Message summary:
Behind every glory there is a story. To access the glory, you must understand the story. Every product has a process and it is by understanding the process behind the product that guarantees success in producing/manufacturing it.
This current generation lacks three things:
- 1. This Generation lacks Patience: This generation is too eager to make success without putting in hard work. This generation is impatient for the prize. They want the glory without the story.
2. This Generation wants the product by bypassing the process: They want the anointing but they do not want to pay for it.
3. This Generation is Allergic to Information: they want the power and the miracles but they are not ready to read or study. We are allergic to knowledge
To get the glory we must know that we must be ready to pay the price. In Matthew 20:21-23, Mary the mother of James and John wanted the product without the process. She asked Jesus to promise her that her two sons would sit on both his sides in heaven. Jesus asked are you ready to drink of the same cup that I would? Brethren, I see a problem with our generation and it is saddening. There used to be a time when people would do anything for the sake of the kingdom, people would go anywhere for the sake of the gospel. But not anymore. People want the glory these days but they do not want the story.
A number of us have plans for how we would grow financially, what jobs we want and what schools our children would go to, yet we do not have plans for how we would grow spiritually in God. This generation wants to have the glory yet they do not want to go through the story.
Hosea 9:11 says that glory can be taken away from conception. Glory; That thing that makes you unique can be taken away at conception, while in the womb or at birth. I have been privileged to see people whose glory disappeared at birth. Many of us do not know much about our foundation- when you toil with your foundation, you toil with your life. My brethren, Exodus 34:7 shows that the iniquity of a man can be punished generations after him up even up to the 3rd and 4th generations and something must be done about this. You may be born again, you may be spirit filled, yet your foundation might have been soiled. Many Christians have died prematurely and many continuously live in untold hardship simply because they have not dealt with the issues in their foundation. From today, if any of these apply to you, you would be delivered in the name of Jesus!!! By the grace of God, whatever has followed you for years must end today!
In Judges 6:14, an angel came to Gideon telling him “go in this your might” but before you go, do something about your roots (the alter of Baal) Judges 6: 25-27, right after he did this, doors were opened for him Judges 7:1-3. Today, ensure that you pray for the place that you come from, pray over your family and pray about the environment that you live in. In Lamentations 5:1-7, the Israelites tell how they had been suffering for the sins of their fathers. They cried unto God asking him to remember them Lamentations 5:19-20. However after Jeremiah wept and cried unto the Lord in the book of Lamentations, God spoke in Ezekiel 18:1-3 saying ‘What do you mean when you use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying: ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children’s teeth are set on edge’? “As I live,” says the Lord God, “you shall no longer use this proverb in Israel’. They got their deliverance after they cried unto the Lord.
You must be ready for warfare!!!! That is why today I would appeal to everyone to pray these four short prayers from 4 scriptures!
1. Jeremiah 50:33-34: I will GO!
2. Jeremiah 51:20-23: I am a weapon in the hand of God; by the power of the Holy Spirit, I release myself and my family
3. Isaiah 8:9-10, 18: I am for signs and for wonders
4. Matthew 15:13: Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted
