MercyHands commenced relief and development operations officially in 2003, and has since then taken giant strides to embrace the current issues of community development, health and economic sustenance, socio-cultural redirection in its mission to help individuals, families,communities and nations build sustainable futures. Operating within the continent of Africa, Mercyhands has become a relevant Christian relief and development organizations targeting to pour out the love of the God of the universe to the hurting world.
The interventions of the Mercyhands Initiative are in helping individuals, families and communities articulate their needs and through active participation, build stronger and healthier relationships. The absence of such relationships impoverishes communities and further removes the synergy of purposes and actions.
