The entirety of our belief and the sole basis of our belief is the Holy Bible, which we accept as God’s infallible written word. We accept the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments as the only inspired and written Holy Scriptures. We believe it was uniquely, and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written without error in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks, and we accept its authority over all issues pertaining to our Church. While recognizing inspired interpretations of scriptures, we refuse and reject all such interpretations as shall hinder the ministry to which God has called us and our duty to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. We clearly, unequivocally affirm our belief in basic Bible truth and teachings as follows:
a) The Church shall meet regularly for prayers, Bible Study and Worship as enjoined in the Scriptures and required by God. The mode of worship is Charismatic involving the singing of songs, hymns, prayers, speaking in tongues, offering, the reading and preaching of the Word of God. Prayer for the healing of the body, soul and spirit will all form part of the regular worship.
b) There is one true God, eternally existing in three persons-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of Deity and the characteristics of personality. Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-3; Acts 5:3,4.
c) Jesus Christ is God, the Living Word, who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and virgin birth. Hence, He is perfect Deity and true humanity united in one person. John1:1, 14; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-37; Colossians 2:9; Philippians 2:6 -11.
d) He lived a sinless life and voluntarily atoned for the sins of men by dying on the Cross as their substitute, thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him alone. (1 John 3:5; 4:10; 1 Peter 3:18; Acts 4:12; 1Corinthians 15:4, 14; Luke 24:36-43; John 20:24-29.
e) He ascended bodily into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God the Father, where He, the only Mediator between God and man, continually makes intercession for His own. Acts 1:9-11; Ephesians 1:20; 1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 7:24, 25; 1 John 2:1-2.
f) Jesus Christ is the head of the Church and directs through the Holy Spirit in all matters relating to the Church’s operation, activities, worship, service or ministry. Being the Head of the Church, nothing is expected to be done in and by the church outside His Lordship, Word or divine approval. Eph. 1:22, 23; Col. 2:19; Isa.9:6; 1 Cor.12:5; 1 Tim.6:3, 4.
g) The Holy Spirit is a Divine Person and is fully God. He is eternal, not made or begotten, but proceeding from the Father and the Son. He perfectly represents the Father and the Son and executes the will, purposes, plans and decisions of the Godhead. He is honoured, worshipped and glorified together with the Father and the Son. Jn.14:16-23; 15:26; 16:7-14; Acts 5:3,4; 15;28; Gen.1:1-2; Zech.4:6.
h) All who sleep in death, believers and unbelievers alike, shall be resurrected, according to the Scriptures; those who lived right to the resurrection of life, and those who did evil to the resurrection of damnation in hell. Jn.5:28, 29; Dan.12:2; 1 Cor. 15:12-23; Rev.20:12, 13.
i) Jesus will come back again in the same manner He ascended, bodily and visibly, to take home His purchased children, both living and the dead Jn.14:1-3; 1 Thes.4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-52.
