Glorious day! The 23rd Annual Convention of He’s Alive Chapel began at 6pm, on the 23rd of April 2013 with an opening prayer by Pastor Don Woke (Centre Pastor, HAC Headquarters- City Gate Sanctuary). Thereafter, a wonderful praise and worship session, filled with the presence of God was led by Emmanuel Davids.
The youth dance group took over the stage with a dance drama performance showcasing people from every tribe in Nigeria, worshiping the Most High in their local dialect. It was beautiful as each tribe praised God in their language. The excitement continued with a women’s procession, led by the Senior Pastor’s wife, Pastor Yide Ukachi, bringing offerings to the altar of God. Afterwards the women’s dance group, gorgeous and colourful, dressed in eastern Nigerian cultural attire amazed with wonderful steps as they danced to praise the King of Kings!
Afterwards Pastor John Emeh prayed for the offerings and we all went
out dancing to give God our gifts. Excitement rose to fever pitch when Frank Edwards was announced. With his angelic voice he brought down the presence of God as he led in worship, singing songs from his album. Glorifying the Lord he shared the story of his life: the Lord transformed his life from poverty to riches and purpose. He told of his mother who groomed him for the Lord, by making sure he attended Christian fellowship frequently. He also told us how he was attacked by armed robbers, but nothing was lost and his life was preserved.
Frank encouraged the youth, saying ‘ask God to show you your life plan’. Also, he told that youth that God will pick up a person from the water to prominence, if he wants to use that person.

Jacob was a cheat and a supplanter, who deceived his father into giving him the birthright and blessing of his older brother. The blessing of God cannot be withdrawn after it has been pronounced.
Walking in Divine Blessing begins when a blessing has been pronounced on you, or when a vow has been made (Genesis 31: 13-14). If you walk in, or renew a covenant relationship with God, you will walk in Divine Blessings (Genesis 32: 1-2).
