The Kingdom and the Blessings of the Kingdom

HACMinistries    September 19, 2013 Leave a Comment

Notes from Overcomer’s Conference Day 2 (Wednesday 18 September 2013)

Speaker: Pastor Gbenga Olayiwole

Key Passages: Acts 14:19, Isaiah 51:1-3, Matthew 23: 24

In Isaiah 51:2, we see that God gave us a mission to preach the gospel. We are a partaker of the same reason God called Jesus, therefore we share in the assignment of Jesus had on earth. The same power God gave to Jesus is available to us. When Jesus died the Spirit of God was released from his body unto us in order that we may have the Life of God in us. God likened our generation to that of children who have no affection for the things of God. The Bible says that when man sins against God he will be connected to the ground when he dies. But Jesus came to give us life, and life abundantly.

You are meant to be living proof of God’s work. Don’t just carry the banner of a Christian but live the life of a Christian. We keep our ways clean by paying attention to the Word. We should value everything that God does for us no because he has done a lot for us. We should study the word. However, we also need to work. God has called us to be his servants. A lot of people are dependent on a lot of things in place than God. There is something about service; no matter how born again we may be, there will always be an hour of challenges, trouble and adversity. When you serve other people’s dreams, your own dreams will be served. We need to love and serve with all diligence. The enemy’s weapon of attack against the church is the word- he can speak to your minds to deceive us, and that is why we need to have the word of God stored up in our heart.

You must develop your hearing and know what God is saying at all times. The prophetic voice is crucial in understanding what God is saying, that is why we have prophets. You can be motivated by relaxing but by working towards it. We should learn to speak to ourselves because it works and we should mind whatever we say because there is power in the tongue. There must be a formula that you should be able to use to push yourself out of pressure. Every single thing that you claim in life you will tested and we should be able to overcome. If you strive you will obtain the price. When we seek the Kingdom and its righteousness all that we are looking for will be added unto us. It is not normal to be ignorant of the plans that God has for us. To expose the mystery we should seek the face of God for the Spirit of Revelation.

We should develop and build a relationship with God and everything we want will be given to us. For you to overcome, you need to have an overcoming spirit. There are blessings in the Kingdom of God. Psalm 65:4 tells us that our faith should arise because whatever we are looking for has come, Amen.

In closing, reflect on Isaiah 51:1- 3, may the blessings written there come upon our lives in Jesus name, AMEN.

Lord please grant us revelation!!
